Student traineeship / working student

SIX advocaten is a leading boutique law firm specializing in real estate law, construction law, administrative law and procurement law. Our clients are public authorities and professional parties in real estate and construction. We handle cases for property developers, investors in and owners of real estate, contractors, architects and housing associations, but also for provincial authorities, water authorities and councils, care institutions and educational institutions.

Our office is located in one of the most beautiful locations of Amsterdam: the IJdock. Situated between the IJ waterfront and the canals, within walking distance from the Central Station.

We are regularly looking for enthusiastic law students who are nearing completion of their University education to join us as a student trainee, both in our private law practice and in our administrative law practice.

As a student trainee you will in principle be working full time for our office for a period of two months. Your services will be required for preparing hearings and meetings, which you will as a rule attend. You are expected to perform case law and literature studies, prepare memorandums and procedural documents and prepare the drafts for these. You will take part in all our office activities, such as case law discussions, internal courses, office lunches and drinks.

Naturally we will make sure that you will get proper guidance and a trainee allowance. It will be an excellent chance to get to know the legal profession, and SIX in particular, from the inside.

if you prove to be suitable for the position, you may subsequently be asked to extend your stay with us as a working student.

If you have any questions or require more information, please contact Hanneke Ellerman.
