Siep Jan de Haan is specialized in administrative law and environmental law. With this expertise, he advises and litigates on matters including general administrative law, zoning and permit procedures, environmental law, and issues related to supervision and enforcement. He primarily works for governments and project developers. Siep Jan earned his bachelor's degree in law (with honours) and subsequently completed a double master's degree in private law and criminal law at the University of Groningen in 2017. Furthermore, he completed the post academic Environmental Law specialization program at the Grotius Academy in 2024, in which he deepened his knowledge and expertise in the current Environmental and Planning Act of the Netherlands. Siep Jan is working as a lawyer at SIX Advocaten since 2025. He worked for nearly four years as a lawyer at Nysingh Advocaten and began his career at a niche law firm in Amsterdam, focusing on the large-scale integration of (sustainable) energy projects in the Netherlands. Since 2018, he has specialized in administrative law and environmental law. |
